Access to European region Danube-Vltava (ERDV)
Founded in 2012, this European region is a working group of seven partner regions consisting of Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Lower Bavaria (including Altötting), Oberpfalz, Pilsen, Southern Bohemia and Vysočina. The regions work together on knowledge platforms concerning the following subjects:

- Further education
- Cooperation between companies & clusters (led by Upper Austria)
- Qualified personnel & flexible job market
- Tourism
- Renewable energies & energy efficiency
- Transport & mobility
